Redefining the Speaker Experience: Be a Voice of the Industry
Do you have a fresh idea, innovative solution, or real-world success story to inspire our community? Let’s hear it. While technical papers remain a valuable and integral part of the agenda, this year we’re introducing an exciting opportunity for content submissions that don’t require a traditional written paper.
Our speaker lineup is curated through a dynamic mix of content submissions and direct outreach. We encourage you to share your experiences, strategies, and practical knowledge – with an emphasis on what’s made a tangible impact and the lessons learned along the way. This is your chance to shape the conversation and offer valuable takeaways that attendees can apply to their own work!
Ensure your submission is relevant and fits with the topics below.
New for 2025: Submissions Without Papers are Welcome
Submissions close April 4, 2025.
Telling your story
It’s not just about what you say… it’s about why you want to say it!
To be a true industry influencer, you need to have a clear goal and message that drives change, inspires action, and moves the conversation forward. The best speaker is not always the most senior person in the company, it’s the right person – the one who has a story that matters and can drive real transformation. Is that you?
Think:
- Who is the best person, partner, colleague to communicate the message?
- What story, case study, opinion piece will inspire my peers and spark new ideas?
- What are the key take-aways and how can attendees walk away with practical guidance?
- Why does this matter and how will it drive the industry forward?
We are seeking a range of different styles to ensure we keep the content fresh, dynamic and impactful throughout the event. We encourage speakers to choose the content, format and presentation style that best suits your message and communicates in a way that resonates with your audience.

Presentation
A good presentation is more than a great slide deck. It should be inspiring, innovative, and actionable. Our speakers inform our audience and help them see what’s possible so they can craft it into a reality. This isn’t a product pitch – it’s about sharing a vision for how your peers can transform their own work and take the next step on their journey. Presentation submissions are reserved for technical papers and must focus on emerging, forward-thinking technology that does not yet exist and is projected to develop within the next 1-3 years.
Panel
Imagine a room buzzing with energy, where ideas collide, perspectives broaden, and solutions emerge. Hosting a panel discussion isn’t just about sharing knowledge—it’s about creating a platform for innovation, collaboration, and thought leadership. By bringing together diverse voices and dynamic conversations, your panel can shape the narrative and spark new insights.
One-on-One Interview
Are you spearheading change? Do you have a story to tell about disruption or transformation in your organization? Are you willing to talk about the good, the bad, and the ugly of your project? A one-on-one interview allows you to delve deep into the drivers and challenges, the successes and failures in a way that a presentation can’t. It’s a candid conversation about what it takes to innovate—and to overcome obstacles.
Ecosystem Insights
Any project is only as successful as the sum of its parts. The myriad partners, clients and verticals in the industry are what make success possible; some of our best received sessions are those that bring together all the players to tell their story. Ecosystem Insights sessions bring together diverse stakeholders in a structured panel to offer unique and contrasting perspectives and share stories impossible to convey in any other format – collaboration in action!
Demos
Actions speak louder than words. Don’t just tell us what you’ve done, show us the outcome. If you’ve created something new, if you’ve pushed boundaries, this is your chance to showcase your work live. Our audience of tech experts craves hands-on demonstrations that reveal innovation in action!
Masterclass
Are you ready to challenge conventional thinking and deliver transformative learning? Masterclasses dive deep into complex concepts and advanced techniques, led by subject-matter experts. This format isn’t about surface-level teaching—it’s an experience that inspires mastery, transforms expertise into action and drives change. Masterclasses must be interactive, and provide actionable insights, advanced skills, or strategies they can apply. Make it unforgettable. Make it a masterclass.

Workshop
Collaboration fuels innovation, and the power of a workshop lies in the collective insights of its contributors. A workshop is defined as a session providing attendees with an in-depth understanding of an SCTE standard and its critical role in driving innovation and operational excellence. These workshops should explore the current state and future direction of specific standards to address emerging industry needs.
Workshops must be interactive and collaborative, featuring participants from relevant working groups rather than a solo presenter. By bringing together diverse experts, the session fosters a robust dialogue, encouraging innovation and the exchange of ideas essential to standardization efforts. In the process, recruiting new collaborators for the working group.

The best ideas are those that inspire others to act. We want our attendees to leave feeling empowered with concrete takeaways that they can apply in their own journey.

- Ideas that are ‘playing it safe’.
- Sales pitches about your company or business.
