Debbie Fitzgerald

Debbie Fitzgerald is a Distinguished Technologist and Director of Sustainability on the Technology Policy team at CableLabs, where she leads the award-winning energy efficiency voluntary agreements for small network equipment and set-top boxes in the United States and Canada.

With more than 25 years in the cable industry, Debbie began her cable journey at Divicom/Harmonic before joining CableLabs, where she has spent over 18 years driving innovation across the industry. Her leadership has advanced initiatives in many areas in addition to energy efficiency and sustainability including interactive TV, advanced advertising, and immersive media experiences.

Debbie is an active volunteer for the WICT Rocky Mountain Chapter and serves as a mentor in the national SCTE/WICT TechConnect program. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Kansas and a master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Cornell University. Debbie has been recognized as a WICT Rocky Mountain Woman in Technology, an Energy and Environmental Leader 100 Honoree, a Cablefax Most Powerful Woman, and is a recipient of the CTA Technology Leadership Award.
