Dr. Veronica Bloom

Dr. Veronica Bloom is a Vice President of Data Science at Spectrum where she leads an organization focused on using data science, AI, and machine learning to support Spectrum’s Internet, Mobile and Video product areas. Her team is focused on developing industry-leading models in support of service reliability, fraud detection and NLP/LLM solutions.  Dr. Bloom holds a PhD in Computational Sciences and Informatics from George Mason University, and a master’s degree in Mathematics from Duke University.  Prior to joining Spectrum, Dr. Bloom was employed as a Mathematician and Data Scientist for over a decade supporting research and development projects in the defense industry.   Dr. Bloom has also served as the vice-chair for the Society of Cable Telecommunications Engineers AI and ML Working Group and has published journal and conference papers on Non-Linear Optimization and Machine Learning topics.
