Based in Antwerp, Belgium, Geert is responsible for the Broadband Networks Business Unit which is part of Nokia’s Fixed Networks Business Group.
His scope covers all Nokia copper and fiber network products within Fixed Network deployments. He has full profit and loss responsibility for these products worldwide. As such, his role includes investments decisions, product definition, product development, global price setting and market messaging.
The Broadband Access Business Unit has five development centers across Europe, China, USA, Canada and India.
Geert has more than 25 years of experience in the telecoms industry and holds Master’s degrees in Civil Engineering, Informatics and Applied Economics.
