Joe Jensen

Joe leads the Value Creation team for Corning’s Carrier and Enterprise business units driving the discovery and innovation of new solutions.  With 25 years of telecom experience in engineering, product management, and product development; Joe pioneers optical architectures, optical solution advancement, and design optimization for today’s evolving networks.  His approach to optical network evolution lowers the cost of deployment for fiber-based access networks.  His most recent areas of contribution focus on identifying rural broadband connectivity solutions, revolutionizing hardened FTTX terminals, and helping network operators overcome barriers to adoption.  Joe obtained his B.S. in Electrical Engineering from NCSU and MBA from UNC Chapel Hill.  He served for 6 years as a Board Member for the Fiber Broadband Association, 1 year as a board member of the SCTE and holds 20 patents.
