Joe has been in the cable industry for over 40 years, with Charter Communications Inc and predecessor companies. He is currently Vice President, Regulatory Affairs at Charter. He is based in Washington, D.C. and is principally responsible for building and maintaining relationships with government agencies. Joe serves as a senior advisor to internal stakeholders on public safety issues, including but not limited to, cyber security, national security, emergency preparedness, and crisis management. Throughout his career, he has served in leadership roles in many different capacities including technology operations, security/risk management, business continuity planning, safety, crisis management and policy. He also currently serves in 3 industry elected roles. He has been the industry Chair of the Communication Information Sharing and Analysis Center (ISAC) for over 13 years. He is currently and has been the Secretary of the National Council of ISACs for over 5 years and has also been a member of the Executive Committee of the Communications Sector Coordinating Council for over 8 years, where he co-chairs the operational coordination working group and is a member of the Cybersecurity and Administrative working groups.
