Karthik Choutagunta

Karthik Choutagunta is a Principal Architect at CableLabs where he focuses on next-generation optical technologies such as distributed fiber sensing and coherent passive optical networking. He received the B.S. degree in electrical engineering from The University of Texas at Austin in 2014, and the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in electrical engineering from Stanford University in 2016 and 2019, respectively. He has previously worked with Intel Corp., Apple Inc., Facebook Inc., Nokia Bell Laboratories, and a few startup companies. His research interests include various topics in photonics, signal processing and machine learning.
