Lakhbir Singh is a wireless communications industry veteran currently serving Principal Engineer III at Charter communications with focus on radio access technologies and automation. Lakhbir has extensive global experience in wireless communication systems, architecture, deployment and operations since the inception of 2G. Lakhbir is best known for architecting cost-efficient high-quality solutions and is widely recognized for a profound technical intuition to identify trends in the “business of technology”.
Lakhbir has worked for both wireless communications equipment suppliers (e.g., Motorola, Lucent technologies) and service providers (e.g., Sprint, Nextel, Nii). He has held variety of roles in solution architecture, network deployment, network operations and product roadmap development organizations. Lakhbir has successfully deployed very large-scale solutions and networks including service assurance systems. Lakhbir also holds multiple patents on radio access technologies.
Lakhbir holds a BSEE with major in wireless communications and MS in technology management. Lakhbir also holds industry certifications CISSP, CCSP, Security+, PMP, CCNP, Unix Network administration. Lakhbir is an advocate for awareness of network security and is a board member of ISC2 Denver chapter. Lakhbir is also an alumni of GSA CIO university and MIT Technology and Innovation Program.
When not working, Lakhbir love spending time with his family, travel, hike and reading literary works.
