Peter Semmelhack is the founder and CEO of Bug Labs, a company he established in 2006 to innovate in the field of modular hardware and software solutions. Before founding Bug Labs, Peter founded Antenna Software (1998), a mobile enterprise software company. Antenna Software was acquired by Pega Systems in 2013. Peter is also the author of the book “Social Machines,” (Wiley) which explores the intersection of social media and the Internet of Things. He is a graduate of Brown University. Bug Labs is a New York City-based technology company founded in 2006 as one of the world’s first open-source hardware innovators, with initial backing from Union Square Ventures and Spark Capital. In 2010, the company shifted its focus and became a leader in IoT enterprise software development, quickly attracting a range of Fortune 500 clients.
