Sarah Magruder Lyle

Sarah Magruder Lyle is President and CEO of the Common Ground Alliance (CGA), an organization dedicated to protecting underground utility infrastructure and those who live and work near it. Under her leadership, CGA is developing the next generation of damage prevention practices and technologies. She also established and is the Executive Director of the Damage Prevention Action Center, the industry’s advocacy arm, which focuses on educating policymakers about the importance of effective damage prevention policies.  She also serves on the Liquid Pipeline Advisory Committee, which provides guidance to the Department of Transportation’s Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration (PHMSA) on regulations affecting pipeline safety standards
