James Medlock

James is the Founder and CEO of Akleza, and a cable industry veteran previously being a co-founder of Camiant, a PCMM policy server company acquired by Oracle, and founder of Ponderosa Systems, an IPDR subscriber usage management company acquired by OpenVault. James has contributed to various IETF, CableLabs, SCTE and industry specifications including SNMP, RMON, DOCSIS, PacketCable Multimedia, IMS, and PNM. He was part of the original CableLabs PNM working group and assisted in the development of the initial CableLabs PNM reference implementation software. With this background he founded Akleza whose mission is to deliver easy to use, software based, cable diagnostic tools leveraging the availability of PNM data and functionality within the cable network. Akleza’s products are leveraged by a number of operators including Cogeco, Breezeline, Videotron, BlueRidge Cable TV, and more.
