Rodney Richter

Rodney is a Distinguished Chief Technologist at Hewlett Packard Enterprise covering Top Accounts for Cable and Telco. He is responsible for technical and strategic leadership across these segments spanning HPE’s end-to-end portfolio and partner ecosystems. He leads customer engagements focused on edge to cloud strategies & solution development across many disciplines including enterprise & hybrid IT, edge, mobility, 5G/Private 5G, media & entertainment as well as AI & ML. Most recent focus has been on Edge AI, Gen AI and helping customers through their AI journey. Rodney joined HPE in 2015 as an Enterprise Architect supporting Tier 1 Telco customers before expanding his responsibilities to include both Cable and Telco segments. Prior to HPE, Rodney held several positions at AT&T spanning corporate IT, network operations, network planning & engineering & AT&T Labs. Rodney holds degrees in Electrical Engineering Technology and Management of Information Systems and is a US Air Force veteran.
