2024 Award Recipients
Excellence in Learning & Development
- Scott Farquhar, Supervisor, Tech & Safety Training, Charter Communications
- This award recognized the achievements of a learning and development professional within the cable telecommunications community.
Excellence in Standards
- Richard S. Prodan, Ph.D., Fellow, Comcast
- This award honored a SCTE Standards program participant who has significantly contributed to both the technical standards program and the spirit of cooperation necessary for the success of voluntary standards.
Member of the Year
- Dennis Russell, Plant Superintendent, Madison Communications
- This award recognized the member who has made the most significant contributions to the Society during the past year.
Wilt J. Hildenbrand Jr.
- Cole Newman, Senior Director of Implementation, Vyve Broadband
- This award recognized an industry star who is 40-years-old or younger and who has made significant contributions in the cable industry.
Chairman's Award
- Linda King, Senior Vice President of Market Expansion, Field Operations, and Business Continuity Planning, Cox Communications
- Bill Warga, Vice President, Strategy & Technology; SCTE Engineering Committee Chair, Liberty Global
- This award has been bestowed upon individuals that have demonstrated significant support of the Society.

- The WICT Network is proud to shine a spotlight on some of the industry’s most accomplished and influential professionals. The 2024 Women of the Year and Women to Watch will be recognized at the Touchstones Luncheon, Monday, October 21, in New York.
