Carlos Sanchez is the Ecosystem Development Manager for the Cable segment at Intel, leading initiatives to accelerate adoption of cloud-native network functions (CNFs) across broadband networks. With over 20 years of experience in DOCSIS, IP/MPLS, vCMTS, BNG, Wi-Fi Offload, and telco edge, he supports MSO transformation to disaggregated CNFs on COTS platforms. He also explores AI/ML use cases for network optimization using Intel CPU accelerators. Carlos holds an M.S. in Electrical Engineering from Northeastern University (Fulbright Scholar), a B.S.E.E. from Universidad de los Andes, is a CCIE (Emeritus), and has published technical papers in wireless and broadband domains.
