Charles is Vantiva Chief Technology Officer, responsible for the 3-5 year technology directions of the company. Working with the leading Global Services Providers he has helped create the next generations of wired and wireless access network and home services to consumers as well as fundamental broadband, video and IoT solutions that are part of consumers’ digital lives.
For the last 13 years he has focused on the consumer home and the technologies and products that are required to align with the services offered by the worlds Service Providers to their customers. He has worked closely with silicon partners and Hyperscalers to drive innovation in product and service delivery to consumers in key areas like Wi-Fi and new areas like health and telemedicine. Recently, he and his team have been implementing AI solutions in new forming Edge and Cloud hierarchical AI architectures. A regular on the industry speaking circuit Charles has been a valued voice in driving the directional technology vectors of future evolutions of the connected consumer home experiences.
Charles was CTO of CommScope Home Networks until January of 2024 before its acquisition by Vantiva. He has previously worked with ARRIS Inc, Com21 Inc and Apple in executive and senior management roles. He was also inducted into the Cable Pioneers Hall of Fame in 2024.
