Damian Poltz

As the Senior Vice President of Wireline Networks, Damian Poltz is responsible for leading Rogers wireline network and services teams, including consumer/business technologies, broadband, video, communication, customer equipment, core network and access technologies. His responsibilities include driving cross-functional collaboration around wireline strategy, and the modernization and growth of Canada’s largest cable footprint. Throughout his 26-year career at Rogers and Shaw, Damian has served in strategic leadership roles including: SVP Wireline Technology & Strategy, VP Technology Strategy & Networks, Director of Network Technology, Sr. Director Communication Systems, Director IP Application Services, and Sr. Manager Video Application Development. Damian is currently serving on the Board of Directors for the SCTE. Damian holds an MBA with distinction from Cornell University and Queen’s University, and a B.Sc. in Computer Science from the University of Calgary.
