Dan Rice

Dan Rice is responsible for all aspects of Access Network Engineering at Comcast, the world’s leading telecommunications, broadband internet and entertainment company. Prior to Comcast Dan was an entrepreneur working with service providers following his role as SVP R&D at CableLabs where he was the member facing executive responsible for the Network Technologies including HFC Broadband, Wireless, Optical, Premise Networks, Network Virtualization and Internet Protocols for residential and commercial services. Prior to CableLabs Dan was CTO for mycontent.com a video and social media start-up. Mr. Rice joined ARRIS as VP Technology Strategy after the company acquired C-COR where he was VP Product Development following C-COR’s acquisition of his startup company Stargus where he was VP and Chief Architect. Prior to Stargus Dan held management and technical positions at RoadRunner, CableLabs, Sharp, Sentrol, and Los Alamos National Laboratory.
