With a career spanning 35 years in the utility damage prevention industry, Dervon Gaskins brings a wealth of experience and a proven track record of success. He serves as Vice President, Damage Prevention for ITG Communications.
Dervon’s journey began in humble beginnings. He progressed through the ranks as a locator, earning a spot on the “Star Team” where he traveled nationally to establish and understand 811 locating, subsurface utility engineering (SUE), and private locating. His dedication and expertise led to roles of increasing responsibility, including Supervisor, Trainer, Manager, Regional Manager, and Director of Operations. Building on this extensive experience, Dervon successfully ventured into entrepreneurship, owning and operating two damage prevention businesses. Safe Site Damage Prevention LLC was acquired by ITG Communications in 2024.
