Hans Geerdes

Hans Geerdes, PhD, is a Principal Strategist in CableLabs’ Technology Strategy team focusing on Techno-Economic analyses, Mobile Convergence, Software/NFV, and Cloud and Edge Computing. Hans joined Cable Labs from Nokia, where he held several strategy leadership positions in Mobile Broadband, Corporate Strategy, and Nokia’s Software and Cloud Services divisions. Prior to Nokia, Hans was a Project Leader for the strategy consultancy Booz & Company, working in Telecoms and Enterprise IT. Hans holds a PhD in Mathematics from Berlin University of Technology and published extensively on wireless network planning and optimization in his academic career. In his free time, Hans enjoys sparring in the boxing ring, riding his road bike, and experiencing classical and contemporary music.
