Jan Neumann

Jan Neumann is Vice President of Machine Learning at Comcast where he leads the AI Technologies team that is developing the Video AI, AI for Customer Care and AI platform services for Comcast. He also leads the AI Technology Center of Excellence for Comcast Cable where he is responsible for the AI/ML technology strategy and execution with the goal to make it easy and frictionless for everyone to develop, deploy and operate safe, secure, and scalable AI/ML solutions that create value for the business. Before joining Comcast in 2009, he worked for Siemens Corporate Research on computer vision related projects such as driver assistance systems and video surveillance. He has published over 20 paper in scientific conferences and journals, and is a frequent speaker on AI and machine learning. He holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Maryland, College Park.
