Lisa Schwab

Lisa oversees Technology Outreach at CableLabs, which helps build a bridge between CL’s Technology Vision work and external tech communities in the startup/scaleup/emerging tech ecosystems and adjacent markets. Lisa also leads the UpRamp Community, which brings together CableLabs members focusing on outside innovation through growth & development, startup engagement, strategy, and venture capital. She also head sup monthly calls for the Syndeo CX Collaborative focusing on AI transformation in Customer Experience. A natural connector, these roles combine a passion for technology, startups/scaleups, and innovation. She also works with her colleagues on the Tech Strategy team to coach CableLabs ideators on their ideas and inventions as well as refining the internal process. She also serves as on the CableLabs DEI Council. Prior to this role, Lisa scouted for, designed, and ran the UpRamp Fiterator at CableLabs, an industry-wide startup accelerator that helped later-stage startups gain traction with CableLabs members. Lisa is a 2x startup founder and alum of the Boomtown Accelerator in Boulder and the TIE Rockies Propel program in Denver. Her career started at The Dallas Morning News and evolved into a journey into adtech, marketing, sales, community and business development. She is very passionate about pushing both startups and industries forward in technology, operations, and culture. Lisa mentors, advises, and invests in many tech startups, is involved with both Boulder and Denver Startup Weeks, is a graduate of the INSEAD Executive Management Program, Seth Godin’s altMBA program, Singularity University, and is a WICT Leader to Watch. In her spare time, Lisa is a road cyclist, yogi, professional photographer, crypto enthusiast, and a humble servant to her furry four legged children, Peach, Sushi, and Bailee Eloise Bridgerton
