Mr. Oliver has enjoyed over forty years of implementing large-scale television, broadband, telecom, and IT systems in North America and overseas. Mr. Oliver has pioneered the application of information technology to the creation and management of telecom project-related data, including design documentation, bills-of-material, cost estimates, and work schedules.
In 2016, he founded Versant Solutions Group which developed NetVersant, a software platform that automates the design of cable broadband networks. Versant was acquired by Globema in early 2024 and Mr. Oliver has worked with Globema since then. Globema’s NetVersant platform is being used by major network operators to plan and design network upgrades, including DOCSIS 4.0 architectures.
