Dr. Tao Wan

Distinguished Technologist

CableLabs

Tao Wan is a Distinguished Technologist at CableLabs. His current research focuses on network convergence and 5G security. He actively contributes to the security standards in 3GPP SA3 and OnGo Alliance. He co-authored more than 20 peer-reviewed conference and journal papers and held more than 20 granted patents. Tao is also an adjunct professor in the School of Computer Science at Carleton University (Ottawa, Canada), where he also received his Ph.D. degree in Computer Science.
